You, Us & The Job: As a Software Engineer International at Post Nord, you will operate within the Production area of the Post Nord IT landscape, focusing on developing and maintaining international solutions. You will work in a diverse environment and collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Tech Lead, and the rest of the International development team, spread between the Nordics and India. Responsibilities: Interact with other development teams, users, and business to understand their needs. Contribute to the development of international solutions as part of the team. Ensure best practices in quality and security are followed in all stages of the product development life cycle. Engage in projects, combining technical expertise and guiding the team in using best practices in software engineering. Identify signs of degradation or risk that will impact the business and promote a plan of action to maintain quality service. Who Are We Looking For?We are looking for you, who likes learning new things in an ever-evolving complex environment. You should engage in the full product development lifecycle, ensuring best practices in quality and security are adhered to. You should have problem-solving and analytical skills to identify potential risks and degradation in applications, proposing plans to maintain and enhance service quality. Your Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a. Net developer with a focus on backend. Extended experience in working with Structured Databases (MS SQL, My SQL). Experience in using Cloud Solutions (Microsoft Azure Cloud, AWS). Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-sourced environment. Experience working in the logistics industry and knowledge of international flows across Post Nord and International systems. Expert knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Technical Expertise: Experience with No SQL Databases. Experience in using Distributed, Shared Cache solutions (Redis). Experience in working with integration solutions (Confluent Kafka, Tibco EMS, Rabbit MQ, IBMMQ). Experience in using container orchestration solutions (K8s or Open Shift). Experience in applying CI/CD and Dev Ops principles in the development lifecycle. Language Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in at least one Scandinavian language is meritorious. Education: University degree or similar relevant education in technology/IT or equivalent work experience in relevant areas.
